An autobiographical tale of departure, wreckage, and the investigation a 39 year old curse. After living for six years above a Chinese acupuncturist in Andersonville, Martie is finally forced to move from her apartment when the building is sold to an upscale restaurateur. As the rehab starts before she's entirely moved out, Martie discovers something eerie inside one of the building's walls.

They are headed home from a quick trip to Beirut when Lebanon's airport is bombed. Bernie finds out that Leah's family may be the ones to blame.

Big Shoulders celebrates the spirit of our great city of Chicago by way of a festival of Chicago artists telling original stories about Chicago. This evening of short pieces are written, directed and acted in by various Chicago talent- primarily the ATC ensemble, members of the Relatives Program, and students from the Art Institute's writing program. It is an opportunity for Chicago artists to create the craft they love together.
